La-Pinilla in Spain is a large resort with 13 lifts (3 chair lifts, 10 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 773 metres (2536 feet) of vertical descent. La-Pinilla has 24 pistes. La-Pinilla is best suited to advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at La-Pinilla. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park. The majority of the pistes at La-Pinilla are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Madrid and the nearest train station to La-Pinilla is at Riaza. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in La-Pinilla.

La pinilla es la única estación del centro que se pueden realizar algunas bajadas considerables como dignas.
Abusan de cerrar algunos remontes (siempre ven viento donde no lo hay) y algunas pistas o no arreglarlas por economía. Pero no se puede pedir mucho mas, tiene poca altitud y aunque la cara norte de la sierra es fria con facilidad llueve y se va la nieve.
Es la única alternativa de la zona centro pero para un fin de semana no es muy aconsejable por la cantidad de gente que puede tener y los pocos dias de nieve de calidad. Es una estación para aprovechar despues de una buena nevada y si es entre semana mejor que mejor.
