Wintergreen Resort, in the United States (Virginia State), is a medium sized ski resort with 6 ski lifts (5 chair lifts, 1 surface lifts) that offers skiers a respectable 306 metres (1003 feet) of vertical descent. Wintergreen Resort has 125 acres of terrain over 19 trails with a total length of 12 kilometers (8 miles). Wintergreen Resort is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. We have no information about the existence of any cross-country ski trails at Wintergreen Resort. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park. All of the trails at Wintergreen Resort are covered by snow-making. The nearest airport is at Washington DC and the nearest train station to Wintergreen Resort is at Charlottesville. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Wintergreen Resort.

Wintergreen is decent for this area. The season pass is a killer deal if you live in the area. The terrain park is getting better every year. Maybe 10 - 15 hit total in the park on average. The blacks and double blacks are pretty good as long as the wind stays down. Over all Its a good place for the money. Don't go on saturdays ( to many people) Although they have wicked fast lifts.
