Tyrol Basin in the United States (Wisconsin State) is a medium sized ski resort with 6 ski lifts (3 chair lifts, 3 surface lifts) but it only has 91 metres (300 feet) of vertical descent. Tyrol Basin has 30 acres of terrain over 16 trails. Tyrol Basin is best suited to advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Tyrol Basin. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and 2 half pipes. All of the trails at Tyrol Basin are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at O'Hare and the nearest train station to Tyrol Basin is at Amtrak.
