Val Cenis has 791 acres of terrain over 43 pistes with a total length of 85 kilometers (53 miles). Val Cenis is only really suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. There are 8 kilometers (5.0 miles) of cross country ski trails at Val Cenis. For snowboarders, there are 2 terrain parks. A small proportion of the pistes at Val Cenis are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Grenoble/St Geoirs and the nearest train station to Val Cenis is at Modane.
